Oh no..... The London men lost their first match 1-3 to British Airways. We did win the 1st set, with Thomas setting. The 2nd was very close and we only just lost it. The first two sets were good volleyball from us. The third was going well up to about 8-8, then we had a couple attacks which lost due our errors, then the first pass started fall apart, putting more and more pressure on ourselves and continuing to cause us to make more and more errors, not good. The 4th set we changed setters to allow Thomas to hit. This was working well and we were close and fighting, but then a little wobble, which allowed them to create a gap, which although we started to close them down, we ran out of points and lost the set and match. We were really missing a out and out hitter to replace the old and kanckered ex-setter. We will beat them when they come to us. JD
