Oh peeps.. I love this song soo much... This song always makes me think of my boy Shawn.... There isnt a time I hear it that I dont think of him and smile and shed a tear.. Just one of those songs... :-) This song came out in one of the HARDEST times of my life... I knew I was moving to Mass and I knew my boy wanted to stay in N.H. to finish at the same High School with his friends.. I was HEARTBROKEN... Whats a mamabear to do?? Everybody said Make him come.. etc... But truth is when you love someone, you dont take prisioners... Shawn is 16.5, hes a young man, hardly a child who needs a dictator.... In a year and a half he could choose to move out anyways.. His happiness and success out weighs any heartache I might ever carry... So I let him stay.. Hardest day in my life, signing those papers.. ugggh.... And I miss him like CRAZY... but Id do it again for him.... But were at tight as ever... An hour ride is hardly enough to break our bond... Its been basically just us from the getgo.. I was pregnant with him at 18... And Looking back, I wouldnt change it for anything.. He is worth his weight in gold to me... He is my world. My heart... My Boy.... So Shawn, I love you... With all my heart... Read the lyrics, its how I feel... The only word I would change is curves to curls... Hahaha Cant wait to see you!!! :-) :-) :-)
