Oh, the father-daughter bonding moments are aplenty today. I was out in my shed, putting crap away for winter, and trying to organize stuff for the Sudan. Dad slinks up, hemming and hawing. I think, Uh-oh. He wants to communicate something important, but he doesnt know how to put it into words. What? I asked. Uh... WHAT?? Finally, he spills it. Where do you want to be planted when you die? I dunno, I replied. I think there will be space out in Braddock Cemetery beside my grandparents. If there arent any plots left in Rosemont. Why? I dont think there are any plots left in Rosemont, Dad said. Okay. It doesnt matter. Grind me up and mix me in the cat litter. I dont give a shit. Then Dad laughed like he loved the idea. Somebody help me. I am about to be overcome with all of this emotion today.
