Oh, the not-so-fun side of owning a farm...my name is Barb and I am a squirrel-snuffer. We have been plagued by ground squirrels this year, and theyve managed to burrow into the foundations of both my barn and Jeffs shop. I dont want to put poison bait out because of the dogs and neighbor cats, so I set up a trap. Which caught the first squirrel today. The only place to let it go that doesnt involve potentially endangering neighboring properties happens to be a federal wildlife refuge and Im not going to mess up their ecosystem. So. It was curtains for the squirrel. I hope it gets easier from here. Riiiight.
