Oh, the sadness Im feeling! Tonight, a small bunny hopped out of my eggplant/pepper/herb/flower garden, startled by the water gushing from my hose. Later, Mick came in with sympathetic eyes and told me Tonks had killed the young bunny, and proudly brought it into the house to deposit at his feet. He verified the death-status, deposited the bunny into the trash can outside, and broke the bad news. My heart is wailing; Tonks looks absolutely elated with herself. Im glum; melancholy; and, Tonks wants me to pet her...cripes.
