Oh what a great review for the Atomic Rooster from a customer last night! 11 hrs · Edited · Just got home from enjoying my birthday meal at the Atomic Rooster in Bridgeport. We had the all-u-can-eat fish and shrimp. The shrimp was perfection - lightly breaded and melt in your mouth. The catfish was outstanding. Little nuggets of goodness. I had the black-eyed peas - which were seasoned very well. Also had the hand cut french fries - no frozen spuds here. My wife and son had the fired okra which was also quite good. The salad bar was good but might have been better with mixed greens along with the iceberg lettuce. The sweet tea was Texas Great. The peach cobbler topped with ice cream was slap-yo-momma good. This is the best fish and shrimp I have eaten since moving from Florida. It was well worth the hour drive from Nocona Hills. If I lived in Bridgeport Id weigh 400 pounds in a month. Highly recommended. We will go back again and again. In our kitchen I bet we always call our peach cobbler slap yo momma good! Such a nice family to take the time to post this!
