Oh yes, its definately cooler today! Its been raining most of the day and even inside the house you can feel it now. The weather forecasts say were gonna get some more warm and sunny days this week, but next week its gonna get cooler again. Sorry for those who like the warm and sunny days, but Ive had enough of them and if it were up to me, summer would be over now. Before it started to rain, Dushi went outside and had another confrontation with Jinx. The human heard growling again and went outside to see what was going on. She found Dushi and Jinx in the middle of the backyard, maybe a meter (+/- 3 ft) apart from eachother, both with a curved back and a thick tail, growling at eachother. When she walked towards them, they acted like she wasnt there at all. I watched them through the window. The human squatted down between them ans started petting them both. Then Jinx probably trusted on the human holding Dushi back, and ran off. Dushi didnt try to follow him and the human took her back inside. Jinx seems to get more bold these days, but this afternoon he looked pretty intimidated by Dushi too. These confrontations between him and Dushi happen more and more often though and the human does not like that evolution. Shell keep a very close eye on the backyard when Dushi is outside and hopes this doesnt get out of hand. Jinx obviously still was a bit shaken when he came back a while later. The human really spoiled him, cause he got wet food. He enjoyed that and gave the human headbops. But when she walked passed him, he swiped at her leg and when she bent down to put a bowl of kibbles in the shelter, he bit her! And not just a gentle love bite. He actually drew blood! He scared himself more than the human, cause he retreated to the bushes right away and when the human followed him and sat close to him (he was too far in the bushes for the human to reach him, but she could see him) and told him it was ok and he could come out again, he didnt. She hasnt seen him since, but theres food for him outside and she suspects him to come back tonight again. My day was purrfect. It was cool, I got to share an ice cream cone with the human anyway, I napped next to the human on the couch, I napped under the cat tree, I snuggled on the humans lap and I gave and received kisses. And the day is not over yet. The human promised Dushi and I get wet food too, and its almost feeding time... Maybe tonight Ill try snuggling on the bed when the new air cooler is blowing cool air. I dont know yet, but well see. Have a great day/night everybody, and see you again tomorrow.
