Oish... that was one scary schlep up and down a long hill and a few corners to get groceries for a post Thanksgiving hang on Friday. I used the shopping cart to steady myself but there was absolutely nowhere to walk on the sidewalks none had been cleared of the very slippery sludge. Had to opt for walking on the road on the side streets, watching carefully behind me to make sure no cars were coming. It was even more treacherous coming back down the hill. All up it took me an hour and 1/4 to do something that usually takes about 15 mins. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and for all those traveling on foot, by car or air... be safe. It sure is slippery out there.
