Oishee sent to development center Senior Correspondent DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Saturday ordered to send Oishee Rahman, daughter of slain SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and Swapna Rahman, to the National Juvenile Development Center at Gazipur. Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat passed the order at his office Saturday. Earlier in the day, Oishee Rahman gave confessional statement before the court. She said that she made the plan days before the murder. Besides, another court placed Rony, friend of Oishee Rahman, on a 5-day fresh remand for police interrogation in police officer Mahfujur Rahman and his wife Swapna murder case. On August 16, Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman, 48, and his wife Swapna Rahman, 40, were found dead at their Chamelibagh apartment. They were killed on August 14. The bodies were found in Oishee’s bathroom and they bore several stab wounds, police said earlier. Detective Branch (DB) of Police held five persons, for their alleged involvement in killing Special Branch inspector, on Saturday afternoon. Oishee left their house with her seven-year-old brother Ohidur Rahman and domestic help Sumi, 10, and left the house boarding on a CNG-run auto- rickshaw the following day.
