Ok--a little self promotion. My last four criminal jury trials all resulted in not guilty verdicts for my clients. These were held in county courts of Broomfield (assault/road rage), Denver(careless driving/injury), Arapahoe(domestic violence) and Jefferson(DUI-refusal). These were in 2013 and 2014. Here is another fun fact. I only had FOUR cases involving criminal charges during that time period because I was almost exclusively practicing personal injury law. So yes I am starting to accept referrals and new clients for criminal defense cases (misdemeanors) again. Why not --apparently I took 100% of my criminal cases to trial in the last few years (even though it was only 4) and won 100% of them. Yay me. Heres the even better part. Those clients all paid a fraction of the market price for their representation or may have been represented pro bono. If you know a friend or family member in the metro Denver area who is facing criminal charges--tell them about me. I will charge maybe $500-$2500 to provide experienced and thoughtful representation. If the circumstances are compelling, I may provide services pro bono (i.e. free). If the case needs to go to trial because the prosecutor will not dismiss the charge or agree to your desired plea--there is NO EXTRA charge for me to defend you to a jury. Dont get fished in by a low retainer only to have that aggressive experienced criminal defense attorney withdraw from your case weeks before trial because you cannot afford the trial retainer (i.e. more money). With me, you get the whole package--experience and motivation to succeed, low(est) legal fee in area, b.s. free legal analysis that sets out the process ahead and an attorney that you can text, email and call when you have concern (and I will respond typically within minutes but always in a reasonable time.)
