Ok Dressage Riders let me introduce myself before I start posting. My name is Denise Rogan and I am your new National Dressage Riders Rep. I am a FEI Dressage Rider with 4 competition horses that I regularly compete throughout the eastern states - small shows and big shows. I now live in Sydney NSW, having moved from Qld 6 years ago where I grew up in outback Qld, St George. I have been the NSW Riders Rep for the past 3 years (and continue to be at this stage) and i now look forward to representing ALL dressage riders throughout Australia. My responsibilities in a nutshell as part of the ADC (Australian Dressage Committee) are: 1. Arrange a riders Forum in conjunction with the National Champs each year and document the minutes 2. Liaise with riders to canvass their views in relation to dressage rider issues and report back to the HPM (High Performance Manager) 3. Provide written reports where required The Riders Forum is obviously a chance for everyone to have a voice, however I would encourage you to contact me personally as well throughout the year. I only want to see our sport grow and for riders to have a fabulous time with their training and competing - we are a big family. It is an Olympic sport and with this brings its challenges - but these are ones that I accept and can hopefully help with to some degree. I am excited for our future and no one will ever be able to dent my enthusiasm for our beautiful and artistic sport. I am proud to be a dressage rider. Happy Riding
