Ok. Here it is , job be damned. Your auto insurance companies will use after market parts on your auto if youre involved in an accident. It doesnt matter if your auto is 2 or10yrs old. Unless you pay extra for OEM parts ( factory) your insurance is going to repair your auto as cheap as they can. Allstate , Geico, Farmers, State Farm ( may not use after market but junk yard parts( used) . Dont think for one second that your in good hands!! I deal with this day in and day out. I tried to use cheap parts on Jakes truck and the primer they used wrinkled up costing me more time and money. I see the same thing at our shop and yet we are forced to use those parts because we are on their DRP program ( legal way and name for steering which is highly illegal). Im sick of it. Try and save a buck, cost you 3 or 5. We all want it as cheap as we can get it, are we really saving anything? No. Its costing us double or more to save a buck. Got to go fix a mess that all started by trying to save 100. It will cost me 300 by the time its done . Rants over. Go back to buying the cheapest products from China, Korea and Taiwan you can. And get the bargain basement insurance. Dont come back to me when your parts dont fit or stay on. I worked with what your insurances paid me to use
