Ok...I am Nigerian and I know someone who died of ALS...she was properly diagnosed only after she went to hospital abroad...You know some of those people we say died of witchcraft? They are actually real diseases that we do not have the tools to diagnose...ALS is a not non-Nigerian, it is global phenomenon... besides even if its oyibo wahala,who says we cant lend our voices to a good cause?..A few months ago, we had even Mrs Obama jump on our #bringbackourgirls# campaign... so why cant our celebrities do the ice bucket challenge without criticism for it?..I never heard of ALS till my mom was diagnosed with it...i am thankful to everyone who has helped create awareness or made a contribution towards ending it...
