Ok I am going to be serious here for few minutes (that is all my ADD allows): Today is my brother Joels 68th BD. He goes to the special podiatrist and surgeon at 3PM today to evaluate the next step and surgery for his Left foot. He has stayed off of it as much as humanly possible and his blood sugars have been well managed (as he has done for years now). The problem is Neuropathy in both legs where he can not feel even if he bumps something. The pressure of the built up scare tissue and scar bone from the 7 previous surgeries on that same foot causes a stress point every time he puts his foot down to walk. This causes the infection to heal and then to reoccur. I am asking for a special birthday prayer for him that the surgeon can go in soon as possible and remove the offending tissue and set him on the road to being infection free for the next 30 years of his life. Yes I want my brother to live as a healthy man to be 98 yrs. old. I love my brother Joel and he has been a great brother and minister to me since he was 10 years old.
