Ok... I dont agree with much when it comes to facebook posts. I dont care about your politics or your justifications of why you think about things the way you do... but this flat out pissed me off and Im going to say something about it. I read this and the only thing I saw that was considered bad about this was the fact that its a Muslim stamp that is made to celebrate a Muslim holiday. What is wrong with that? I havent seen anyone get a stick up their ass because someone was celebrating Hannukah, but someone mentions a MUSLIM holiday and suddenly the whole country wants it boycotted. A bunch of people followed Osama Bin Laden... That doesnt make the whole religion and culture bad. If it justified a little more than Its muslim. Ew. I might be a little more understanding. Note that I said MIGHT be. Im talking about if theyre sacrificing virgins or something to celebrate this holiday. If I go to the post office to get a stamp, you know what? Im gonna take that stamp if thats the stamp they give me. You know why? BECAUSE I WILL HAVE GONE THERE TO GET A STAMP WHICH IS INDEED THAT THAT IS. Its a stamp. Its not a banner youre required to hang in your yard and you dont have to take on the religion. Also, It says this is the second muslim stamp. George Bush released the first one 8 years ago to reach out to Muslims on Ramadan. The stamp get re-released every time the postal rate goes up. The postal service took full responsibility for this. Obama... had nothing to do with it. You know how I know this? I checked the facts. Have a wonderful day and Im sorry I pulled a mark-length post.
