Ok, I feel the need for a bit of confession here. Anyone who knows me knows of my complete DISDAIN of anything remotely American Idol-like for the fact it is very obvious which singers are going to get how far and what vocal stylings are preferred. Added to the fact that American Idol does NOT allow a very large segment of musicians, namely anyone who only plays instruments but does NOT sing. And yes, I have been charged with the odious term of music snob by more than a couple of people. HOWEVER..... this 13 year old puts more raw emotion in her music than I have ever heard some of the supposed greats even put in their entire careers!
