Ok, I fixed the computer problem, and Apple is no longer quite so persona non grata. Bear in mind that when getting a new device on a home network, the "Home Group" password is NOT THE SAME as the network password. And those are PC/Windows terms. No telling how they translate to AppleDom. Anyhow, it was my fault, but it would have been nice if the tech had been able to see that I kept imputting the HOMEGROUP password, where what I needed was the NETWORK PASSWORD. Two different animals. Sheesh.
