Ok, I have received the ultimate punishment from my dear sweet - TopicsExpress

Ok, I have received the ultimate punishment from my dear sweet funny gorgeous Snusser Butter ;) I have to answer 12 little known things. But Im not sure how little known they are but here goes... 1. I developed my sense of humor and my love of performing in my youth when I would lock myself in my room and dance and sing along with records (a talent that would serve me years later while lip-synching Mamma Mia with Layne Holley at a talent show in Brooklyn, NY) As a boy, I would learn every line to my brother Tony Hunters Bill Cosby comedy albums and perform them for the audience in my room. Then I would go over and sit at a table with a cup of coffee (coke-cola) and pretend I was being interviewed by Johnny Carson. 2. I once performed the entire soundtrack from The Sound of Music for my fourth grade class as part of Show and Tell. 3. My father died in front of me when I was four and since then I have harbored a fear of abandonment. 4. Ive never been good at romantic relationships (see #3). I am more suited to play the role of the best friend, the sidekick, in lifes little drama. 5. I would not change one day of my glorious 18 years in New York City. It was the adventure of a lifetime. I have gotten to meet people and experience tastes, sounds and sights I never could have imagined as a young boy, in that bedroom, in Tallassee, Alabama. I am so thankful I got to share so many of those years with my dear friend and partner in crime, Layne Holley 6. This has been the worst year of my life, facing my own immortality, unemployment, and yet its been one of the best because I am discovering how much REAL love I have in my life from my amazing support team of family and friends. Every day I find new reasons to push forward, reasons to choose life and not give in to darkness. 7. I once made out in a tree on West 23rd Street with crowds of people walking below, the Empire State Building glowing through the leaves. 8. Laughing so hard until I cry is often embarrassing, sometimes annoying for those around me but always cathartic for me. The person that can make me laugh that hard is a friend of mine for life. 9. When I smoked and drank to excess in the 90s and early 00s, I was in the best physical condition of my life. 165 pounds, running 8 miles a day, lifting weights and setting a new record for my NYC company in an annual city wide fun run. A friend at the time said I was the poster boy for decadence. 10. I co-wrote a play that was workshopped in NYC. 11. I changed professions in my early 30s when I moved to NYC. I went from hospital management to public relations. I learned PR on the job and learned from some of the masters. Thank you Russell Cheek , Sherri Michelstein and Marie Mascola. 12. I love to act. I think it took moving away and experiencing life to make me a better actor, though. I wish I had known then what I know now. Some of my favorite moments on stage in no particular order....fighting in the dark with Rhonda Crim, arguing over classical music with Scott Page, breaking up with Cushing Phillips, cutting a rug with Snusser Butter and Bill-e Cobb, falling at the feet of Eleanor Kerr Davis, flying with Thomas Shanks, Tony K. and Phillip Sides, going off to war with Michael Buchanan, playing the violin for Greg Thornton , dancing for Randy Foster and dying for Val Winkleman.
