Ok, I have to say this and hopefully it will not offend people. But after two trips to Europe it has become clear that part of the educational upbringing of people in Europe is to learn more than one language. I have to say, that being part of that group made both trip, and hopefully my upcoming third trip, more enjoyable. So why in the US we are so stubborn about learning a 2nd language.
