Ok I know it has been a long time since I have worked fast food or had my first job but let me tell ya, a LOT has changed since I was a teen. My son just got his first job at a fast food place, not gonna say where because I want him to keep his job and do well with it. But they have some of the most ridiculous rules and crap that you have to do before you get the job. First of all when in the heck did they start making kids get a checking acct or give there parents checking acct info for a job? They said they only pay threw direct deposit or you dont get paid. Secondly, they are not allowed to have anything to drink during work unless it is water, if they have soda, tea or coffee they must pay and have a ticket for it upon request. Also they have to check there cell phone in with the manager on duty and will not get it back till after there shift, no phones while on break at all! I understand the no phones during work but why not on break?? Also the manager checks to see IF they get all of there tips or not?? At the end of there shift! Too much room to screw over young teens to me. Any thoughts???
