Ok I know this is black history month. Question: What are you first, a Christian or an African American? No right or wrong. But I choose to be a Christian first. Why? Well I believe there is a reason why God allowed a lot of people, of all races, to have an erased history. I think it is because who I was, can affect who I could be in Christ. If I spend most of my days searching just to find out that my great great great..... grandfather was an African king or noble or even a peasant. That still want make God love me more or less nor draw me closer to Him. Now Im not saying we shouldnt celebrate our history find out about our history. If we dont know our history we often repeat it. Im saying as a Christian who is black. We should thank God for these great men and women but stop thinking that we as whole are somebody just because they did something with their talent. If we dont do anything with our talents to the Glory of God then we disrespect God and these trailblazers. A NEW OR BETTER PERSPECTIVE CAN CREATE ROOM FOR GREAT AND SIGNIFACANT CHANGE.
