Ok I need everyone to share this because I need to get this out. I love my job. I bring smiles to people and I even make a little bit of laughter. Its a tough job, but as a sonic carhop, it is my duty to make everyone happy. But Ive seen too many of my co-workers and friends get fired. They dont steal, they are never late, and they are great at what they do. They were fired because they did not make tip wage. We get paid 2.15 an hour, and we have to make the extra five every hour we work to make tip wage. Now Im in danger because the last few nights Ive worked, Ive made 15-20 dollars on 7 hour shifts. If we make you happy, tip us. Even if its 25 cents its appreciated. It stacks up. So many are losing their jobs because they cant make their tips. Please help me spread awareness. I work at the sonic on Josey and Keller springs.
