Ok, I pulled up my big girl panties and went on a eel dive. Some of you know that I hateeee eels... I was bit by a small one on the finger and it left me with a irrational fear. Well, today was the day I face that fear head on so we did it. While doing the dive we didnt see any and I thought I was in the clear... then I turned around and of course the one that came out to greet us with right behind me and swimming right at my face. Well, I let out a blood curdling scream and the guide and my dive buddy came to my rescue. I snapped a couple pics as I did my best to escape the attack. I may have a photo or two to post later... lol, dont expect the eel shot to be good though ;) hahaha! Ok, after the initial incident he swam along with us and actually was non-violent and kinda, do I dare say... endearing. Now I wanna go back and try it again and this time not take panicked photos but get some real shots. Call me a badass if you will.
