Ok, I told you guys I would start bringing the old leedy drum sets and snares out of the vault for cleaning, restoration and maybe even a gig or two and here is the first one to come out. Ill start with the snare. I have owned this whole kit for almost thirty years and they have never been cleaned up or played. This is a set of Black Diamond Pearls stamped Dec 64 and Jan 65 inside the shells. 22 bass, 13 rack, and two 16 floor toms with this 14 x 5 snare. It is VERY heavy for its size so I think its chrome over brass? also it looks like it has the original snare side head on it. {see pics} I will post more pics of it as it gets cleaned up with new heads. enjoy!
