Ok, I went to the doctor this am as a follow up to my hospital admit. He increased my Lasix, put me on potassium and cholesterol meds and changed my insulin. Now I have to do my finger sticks 6 times a day, I told him my fingers are all full of holes and turning purple, he says hes sorry but theres no other way and wants me to make a list of everything I eat. Not sure if I have enough paper, but am going to try to be honest and maybe it will work. I told him I hated being diabetic, it sux. I cant eat anything I like, altho I do like salads so I guess I will be eating a lot of veggies.
