Ok.... Ill take Kryszs bait and play along with this game. 7 Things you most likely do not know about me: 1) In 2nd grade I was kidnapped from my bus stop one morning less than 1000 feet from my doorstep 2) When I was 14, I forged some working papers so I could get a job at a local deli making $2.50 an hour stocking shelves because I wanted to help my Dad out with household expenses (Min wage was 3.25 an hour at that time) 3) I was later molested by a male co worker at that same deli 4) I snuck backstage/downstairs at a Pantera and Prong show at Nassau Coliseum in New York and ran into Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails in the hallway and handed him a cd and shirt from my old band Circle Of Dust. Ironically he shook my hand and told me his manager had set him our Brainchild cd to check out the previous week 5) Just over 17 years ago I was distraught and in a very dark place mentally and was seriously contemplating killing myself for a while. Instead I opted to immerse myself into the sonic therapy of music and channeled all my emotions and wrote the debut KLANK cd Still Suffering instead. 6) I got my first FULL guitar endorsement in 1994 when I was 23 yrs old (100% Free) 7) By April / May 2014, My plan is to quit my job so I can pursue doing music full-time. After the new KLANK cd is done, Pat and I will finish recording the Synthpop LullaBye stuff . Eric and I will also be recording an EP for our side project TKR and then I will finish my solo / pseudo acoustic cd. Our goal is to do TKR shows every Wednesday through Sunday around KLANK shows. Sprinkled somewhere in between, I will be booking weekend / fly in solo gigs all across the US to fill any gaps. The way I look at it is there are so many other shitty musicians constantly touring / playing out and making a living at it, so why cant I?
