Ok, Im going to start the year off with an uncharacteristic whinge......wearing my promoters hat, can I just point out that some bands obsession with booking as many gigs in their local area over a period of just a few weeks is NOT the best way forward!! Personally, I think once every 4-6 weeks is the MAXIMUM a band should play locally, otherwise youre likely to suffer a serious case of overkill plus any promoter worth their salt wont touch you with a barge pole. Rant over!
