Ok Ive done a quick render in MS paint of the sketches Ive been doing at my desk for the last few nights. Starting from the bottom we have a transfer yard with engine facility. Moving up from the transfer, there is a chemical facility on the left of the mainline (in red) serviced by the road crossing seen behind the engine facility. Moving up to the corner where the yard lead (Blue) and Mainline (once again red) curve, there is a scrap yard. Top left corner will be a pulp/paper/lumber company (ie. Tembec etc) we then cross the second crossing on the layout (which will be lit) and see a grain or plastics manufacturer (center) and then head to the passenger station where we can cross over and enter the main railyard that passes under the highway overpass and into downtown where I will model an abandoned factory lot like in town here by Highway 11/17 and Mcguaghey Ave.This will be 4x8 likely for the back section. I may have to cut it back and make it 2 3/4 feet wide fr both ends but well see. the tail end with the transfer yard (Bottom) will be only 2/34- 3 feet wide by 6 feet long. *Dimensions are not final*
