Ok July 26th, this Saturday is Phippsburgs 200th big celebration, parade starting at 11 am, lobster bake, blue berry pie eating contest and some local musical talent, Tweed Johnson, and Shy Green (with my awesome drummer husband, Scott Thayer) and others. Route 209 WILL be closed from 11-12 that morning so if your not going to all our festivities then plan accordingly to the road closure! Shana York, Lynda Ada Doughty and I have worked really hard to make this parade come together, so bring your kids, your grand kids, your dog or just yourself and watch what your town has put together, it should be pretty entertaining! (The route will be from Stoneybrook road to the fire station) See you all on Saturday!
