Ok Terra Wizorek Murphy and Marsha Peters.. you both challenged me to do the gratitude journal so here it is: Day 1: 1) Im beyond thankful for the Lord my God!, who shed his innocent blood for a sinner like me. Dont know that Ill ever be able to wrap my mind around his unconditional, everlasting, all consuming love. Thankful for his mercies new every morning, the grace he extends freely, and amazed by the way he works and speaks. Through his word, and others. Like I told a friend yesterday, the more I spend in His word, getting to know Him, and allowing Him to lead me, the more Im in awe and amazement of Him. Life truly begins when you start living for Christ. 2) Thankful for my husband. Lucas Peters. This man is always full of the joy of the Lord. Hes always last, putting everyone else before him, always seeking and looking to help others, and has a prayer life and relationship with God that makes me more than proud. Hes a care taker. Best father, ever. Always soaking in time playing with his kids, laughing with them, and teaching them by leading them. Im thankful for the faith he walks daily therefore leading our family to Christ always pointing us to Him when he as a human fails and/or doesnt know the answer. Hes romantic, playful, full of love, loyal, caring, and a man after Gods own heart. Hes brought me more joy than I ever could have imagined. Hes real. He is who he is around all, and never scared to have a real conversation. I cant explain all the ways I love this man. Hes definitely Gods gift to me and Ill forever love and cherish him! :) 3) My children. My 4 amazing, unique, healthy, beautiful children. I knew I wanted a big family, but never knew Id be so blessed. My kids have taught me SO much about life, about love. God uses them daily to speak to me. And I pray Im open to letting God use me exactly how he wants to speak to them. My kids are kids :) full of life, onery, fun, playful... they are so many things as they are learning each day new things, new ways, and learning about life and this world and who they are, who God created them to be. I pray for my family every day. I prayed relentlessly for each child as they were formed in my womb. That God was in them, that the Holy spirit was active, that they had the joy of the Lord and were willing to share that with others. That they would know God, love Him, and follow Him. I know my kids will mess up. .. they are human. And they are Lucas and my kids! :) I just pray that Lucas and I are equipping them with what they need for who God created them to be and His plan for their lives. I tell them daily how much I love them. I also tell them that God loves them so much more, and that I will fail them even though I dont want to, but that God, He never will. And thats why they need Him. Every day, every hour. I could go on about my 4 greatest blessings forever. Im forever thankful for God blessing me with their lives and allowing me to be the one they call MOM! ♡ I challenge Jeremy Ivanna Leffring, Kassondra Terrill, Coley Haycraft, Meggie Hilbert, Lana Richards to do the same challenge. 3 things you are thankful each day for for a week.
