Ok. The whole rebuild/refreshening project is done on the 83. BUT! I ran into a snag when trying to start it. Fuel pump was on a swtich and I took the swtich out and wired the pump (Walbro) back up factory style. (No more swtich) Problem is, when I key up the ignition, the pump doesnt turn on (prime) and it wont start. I opened up the relay box in the engine bay and it looks like theres as missing relay? I have 5 relays in mine. Looks like a 6st one should be in the here yet. It has wires running to the back side of it. Now Ive been looking in the Hanes and I see fuel pump relay 1. But maybe Im just lost in all the lines of ink, but wheres fuel pump relay 2? Im almost certain that its not a wiring problem, just for the fact that Ive fixed most of the previous owners mistakes and probs. In the past 4 days, Ive been in the garage for 14+ hours a day! So the big question is, where are the 2 fuel pump relays located? One is right by the battery correct? Thats the one ended for turbo swaps and is part of the harness? So the second one would be? Again, I know I could hit the forums, but Im just looking for location and a bit quicker response. ;) Thanks in advance!!!! Once the pump kicks on. I can start it, do timing and get the exhaust put on. I was saving the photo bombing till I could get it outta the garage, but I got plenty photos to choose from.
