Thank you for the Amazing Support and Look Out Byfield In The Meantime here is a Quick Explanation of What to Expect ! The GREAT ZOMBIE ESCAPE YEPPOON is a fun, Fun Run/Competition that lets you test out what you will do when the Zombie Apocalypse Hits ! This Event will be for Ages 12 + . -Solo Entrants must be 18+ or Over -Entrants 12 years Old to 17 years Old Must Be Accompanied by a Competing Parent or Legal Guardian. -Teams Welcome too Register. WILL YOU BE A HUMAN OR A ZOMBIE ? When you register, you can give us your preference, HUMAN or ZOMBIE. For humanity to have any hope (and the run challenge more fun), the number of zombies will be restricted as a ratio of humans (about one zombie for every four humans). If you are a human you get to race Over a 5km Escape Track thru Rainforest and Bush against the clock and the Threat of Being Eaten to find your away around the last Checkpoints of humanity On your way to Freedom . The whole time, humans will be dodging freaking ZOMBIES! The recently UNDEAD will be able to “eat” you if they capture the flag you’re wearing on the belt provided to all the HUMANS. Don’t despair though, if you’re “bitten”, you can find “medical” attention at one of the outposts to restore your health . However you will have lost your Original Lives (Different Color Tag) you will Miss Out on the Chance to Make our Hall of Fame Survivors - There will be a 5 Minute Penalty Added to your Race time for each Flag Missing when you reach the Finish or SAFTEY ZONE so make that last dash the best :) The Course will be Clearly Defined by Ribbon Track Markers and Zombie Hunters and Escape Wardens will be Scattered along the track to Guide Escapees Along , The challenges will not be overtly physical (we won’t have you jump over 15 foot walls!), but expect to use your noggin’, balance, and/or coordination and maybe a love of Ice Baths and Mud. If you have none of those qualities, let’s hope you can run! If you are a zombie, your main concern is lunch (and of course, taking over mankind!). You’re trying to “eat” and Take as many humans as possible within the 1.5 hour race time.. - Now Our Zombie Curse means you are the WALKING DEAD so walking pace only but Quick grabs and Lunges are allowed to grab a snack of Competitor . Zombies Tallies will be taken During the Day with an Overall Zombie Winner Announced alongside the Race Winner . Prizes and Divisions - There are no age divisions (other than you have to be 18+ to participate Solo) in the Great Zombie Escape. We do have separate prizes for the Live and Dead! There will be prizes awarded to the following: Humans Based on Time and Costumes ⦁ 1st place ⦁ 2nd place ⦁ 3rd place ⦁ Male and Female MOST Creatively Dressed Human ⦁ Best Dressed Team . If you are wearing your original flag (which is marked), you’ll be in the hall of fame and gain recognition of being the ULTIMATE Survivor of THE GREAT ZOMBIE ESCAPE, and is the most likely to survive a REAL zombie apocalypse . Zombies Based on # of Flags Captured and Costumes ⦁ 1st place ⦁ 2nd place ⦁ 3rd place ⦁ Male and Female ⦁ BEST looking Zombie – (As in most looking like the dead!)
