Ok all u special people who have amyloid. Went to royal London yesterday and today. What fantastic people who work there / so caring. Anyway patients got talking in the waiting room. We all know the bad things about amyloid. But what I found today was these people ( yes ok that means me too ) each have a poignant special story to tell. Too numerous to mention on here but you know the positives were we could all smile/laugh, we all help each other. And whilst some could only endure chemo/ some sct as well - was the positivity that came out of it all . Drs r so cautious and wont commit to life span etc but Id prefer to listen to those patients today. Even I was enlightened and proud even to b part of the gang - yes its rare - we maybe dont even look ill( tho I looked pretty grotty few months ago) , but were all prepared to bloody fight! So I say b proud of where u r - u make some amazing friends. I send my love and hope to u all to gain an inner strength we never knew we had xxx
