Ok, apologies where warranted for the language in this video, but seriously; this has been and continues to be the attitude of the major service providers for the last decade and more. Thus far, every location that Ive lived since I got back from Japan (or even considered living when it came time to find a new place) has had at most 2 providers available - usually Fiber/DSL and the local cable company. Data connections on mobile phones are just barely coming up to acceptable speeds such that in another half decade I suspect it might actually be practical to drop the separate internet connection for your home, at least if your activities are limited to relatively light web cruising, but for now its not a reasonable third choice, given the massively variable speeds and coverage provided by minute changes in position, as well as the horrendous terms currently in place for unlimited data. Oh well.
