Ok as great as this might be for those who actually qualify for medical use, we need too completely legalize marijuana. Medical use only actually INCREASES the punishments for illegal offenders!!! Now if caught with the smallest amount of bud, it will be considered a felony charge. Plus the only patients allowed for medical use at the moment are terminally ill patients. Nowhere near the amount of minor illnesses it could help people with. So people with chronic pain or depression or insomnia or eating disorders, to name a small few, WONT be able to legally use it. Not to mention the $ that will be lost from not being able to produce and sell hemp products like paper, fabrics, building materials, rope, etc, etc. Even if you dont use marijuana you will benefit from completely legalizing it.
