Ok because so many people have contacted me asking What is the difference between CURVED teeth on a thinner and STRAIGHT teeth on a thinner I will try to explain this as easy as possible. #1 Curved tooth thinning shears have heavy corragations which holds hair from sliding. #2 When cutting and pulling motion (like in the face area) these types tend to have less of a chance to grab and pull hair. #3 Curved tooth thinners have more of a uneven textured look when cutting hair and tend to leave NO LINES. #4 Curved tooth thinners tend to look cool in my opinion LOL ;) OK now STRAIGHT tooth thinners #1 Are great for cutting straight lines. #2 Usually have more of a chance of the teeth catching on the cutting blade. Which I am sure most of you have experienced with a chunking shear Bottom line neither are the wrong thinner to use, its up to each one of us and your own unique cutting style. This is why I always say The good Lord has made us all different, just because your coworkers like something, dosnt mean its for you
