Ok chapter ONE New Years Day. We received a call from the breeder that the pups mother had to be put down for emergency reasons and complications of bloat. We were asked to get the puppy today. He is seven weeks old and was weaned. We prepared as well as we could and picked him up, it was amazing how well he is doing exploring and falling madly in love with Bob. Which is evidently mutual. After much deliberation and a glass of wine we decided to change his name from Fritz to Otto, both names Bob and Otto care spelled forwards and backward the same. Two peas in a pod.
