Ok, dig this. I walk into work tonight at the range, and as I walk in the door a sign above the fire alarm falls off the wall. I picked it up and moved it. Once in the classroom where Im teaching, the fire escape sign on the other side of the room falls off the wall. I go to get my student packets ready. There are none. Each packet has about 35 pages. I have a half-hour before class begins. I am supposed to have 8 students. I start making copies from my packet as fast as I can. People start streaming in as Im making copies in the back. 8 students. 10 students. 14 students! Holy crap, I cant copy fourteen 35-page packets before class starts. My phone rings. Its the wife. Water is filling up our basement and garage, she doesnt know what to do. Its time for class to start, fourteen people staring at me. I tell her where the main shut off valve is located.
