Ok everyone, let me introduce you to some AWESOME people that i have had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with during the 4 weeks that ive been here in Tacloban, the Philippines, and that Im looking forward to doing projects with for a long time to come. Teresa - a wonderful woman i met several years ago when living in Syndey. Now shes volunteering at Communitere and is currently working on building a house for the office chef, a man who hasnt had a real house to live in for way to many years Jove - One of the guys to go to when you want to arrange something and get things done. Awesome positive and inspiring person who i want to hang out with and work with in a nearby future. Malaya - Kick ass creative, designer, photographer and film maker working on the social enterprise Taclob. Jourdan - The mind behind Taclob, a company producing backpacks here in Tacloban in a factory run by the locals. Always thinking about new ways to create stable jobs and stable lives for families here in Tacloban. Horhe also known as George - Artist from Tacloban who has been using his skills while working with kids as a way to help them cope with the traumatic experiences they had during typhoon Yolanda. Painted the big fist pump on the doors to the workshop together with DOP Dolph also known as DOP - Artist and tattoo artist here in Tacloban. Painted the fist pump together with Horhe. Amazing and inspiring persona Marielle - a woman you can count on when it comes to arranging events, and whos there whenever you need a helping and and a good chat. Sam - The man who started Communitere, and the reason why i could keep myself from taking the rash decision to give up everything in Copenhagen and come over here. Ill be forever grateful for your crazy influence...! Xander - Photographer, runner and fellow creative mind. Working with Jourdan, Malaya and Joey making sure that the word of Taclob and the floating backpack Courage spreads around the globe. Gold Dust, real name Orna - working together with kids using her background as an opera singer setting up a concert in the end of this month. Nikolo - Cartoonist and artist using his art skills working with kids as a way of trauma therapy Tessa - Lovely persona who im looking forward talking more with over a glass of wine. Perry - Film maker working with UNICEF. He keeps me in check... :P Malvin - Working for PLAN. Awesome guy and amazing to ping pong ideas with. Laurence - We met already 9 years ago in copenhagen, we just didnt realise it until we stood in a bar over here in Tacloban. The world is small. With a background within architecture and carpentry, he is one of the main men to go to in regards to housing and such. Marko - working with kids using football as a way to keep them out of trouble, and getting them to laugh as much as possible. Also helping out bringing light back to football courts. Its so much easier to play when there is light... James - Hard to explain. Crazy creative business person with an artzy side that he uses when brainstorming ideas for social projects that makes a difference. Rachael - Yet another amazing and inspiring person.
