Ok, fess up time. My willpower was low at the store the other day and I bought a small bottle of sugar free Pumpkin Spice creamer. I know this stuff isnt good for you, and there is a bunch of chemicals and junk in there, but once a week or so I like to use it as a treat to myself. Anyways...I wanted to give you guys a tip. If you use creamers like this, I always suggest measuring out how much you are using. I used to think I was using the recommended serving size of 1 Tbsp when I put in a splash of creamer and then one day I measured it and it was more like 3-4 tablespoons! If you have having multiple cups of coffee a day that can quickly turn from what you thought was just 15-calories per cup to 60 calories per cup and can add an extra 150 calories to your diet. Sometimes, paying attention to the little things like that can help you realize why you arent losing weight at the pace you want. And, for the record, I dont recommend using sugar free stuff. I know this is a hot topic and there are arguments to be made both ways, but I would rather (for the most part) err on the side of caution and stay away from artificial sweeteners. But, with that being said, I always said I would be honest and transparent with you here on this page, and thought I would share one of my imperfect moments with you guys. :)
