Ok first off this is not towards anyone person so pull your jock straps off your nuts and your panties out your cracks. Why is it when i am on FB i see videos of starving animals, but none of starving kids? Why do i see videos and posting of how great God is but not one posting of people who are religious giving food to the homeless? Why do i see videos of Grand houses, tiny houses that save space, or fabulous rooms worth millions but not one video of someone giving a starter home to a homeless family that needs it? You would buy a big bag of dog food or cat food to give to a animal shelter yet i dont see anyone buying 10 cans of cheap food or veggies and donating to a food bank. You would go out and scour empty lots and abandon homes for starving animals but would turn to cross the street away from a homeless person. Why is that? Do you believe that they want to be homeless? Granted some do but they are few and far between. Our cities are full of homelessness yet we sit back and comment and rather rudely about them being filthy, smelling bad, etc but have one of you offered to take them to a motel or even a truck stop and pay for them to clean themselves? Nope you havent. I have. I have given food, clothes, blankets, a shoulder for them to lean against when they need it. Why am i doing that? Because behind my rough exterior, my callousness i care because i have been down that road. I am the one you crossed the street to avoid, i am the one you never gave a can of veggies to. I was the one living in the cardboard box in the lot 20 ft from the dog you rescued but you never saw me. I am ashamed that i belong to such a society today. So in passing my friends, enjoy life, every small aspect of it because one day and i hope it is happens i will be the one giving you a can of food to survive. Love you all.
