Ok folks. Going to go on a little rant here. If you are an officer with a cadet corps and you are given the position of summer contact officer, DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY!!! I am so tired of kid showing up without forms or not being told what the proper dress is. One cadet showed up in civvies, not being told to wear his uniform!! I know that e-mails are all the rage, but would it kill you to call the kids and their parents and have some personal contact with them, or heaven forbid, show up to see them off. It is our duty to make this as pleasant am experience for both cadet and parent. Sorry for the rant folks. As I take my job seriously, and this has been building up for many years.
