Ok folks I am so very upset today as I think its very obvious that I have been messed about with todays big order, I will put up pictures soon to try and sell some of the cakes :( I put so much time and effort into my cakes to make them special for your special occasion and i dont charge for all of my time that it take to produce cakes like this. I dont do this but on this occasion I want you to know who this is as its beyond ne how someone can do this. CAKERS IN THE AREA BEWARE - This lady JODIE WALKER has been messaging me back and forward about this order for months now and paid a £20 deposit with tha balance of £85 due today on collection. I saw this morning she has now has blocked me on facebook and is not answering her phone to me. We spoke on Monday through pm and again 2 days ago to arrange collection time today which was 10.30am.....she is obviously not coming now and hasnt even had the decance to let me know why. I am truly gutted by this as I put so many hours into her order....the toppers alone took me 7 hours then the baking of the 30 cupcakes, and the main baby bump cake took me over 6 hours......and of course there is still the ingredients to take into account. I never charge fo all my time when pricing orders as I like to give a fair price but still produce really great cakes so something has to give .......and its my time. Sometimes i only work for £1 per hour when all the costs are taken out and the hours are worked out, and I do this out of choice and for the love of seeing the smiles on my customers faces when they collect their cakes. I would never have though someone would do this to me, I mean how could you?? Well the only thing that has made a little smile on my face with this today is when my daughter wiped my tears and told me im still the best cake baker in the world xx Thank you Lily my darling xx
