Ok folks. I just did some research about Amendment 3. It will boost Section 26 of the Alabama Constitution. That every citizen has a right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state. This amendment will make 26 a fundamental right. Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of 1901, to provide that every citizen has a fundamental right to bear arms and that any restriction on this right would be subject to strict scrutiny; and to provide that no international treaty or law shall prohibit, limit, otherwise interfere with a citizen’s fundamental right to bear arms. (Proposed by Act 2013-267) The strict scrutiny is where if any fed, state or city official violates that right will be subject to termination or jail if they infringe on your right. So I am voting yes. And I humbly ask you to do the same.
