Ok folks, a question for you. Am I TOO honest about my caking (and cookie-ing) ability and the fact that I dont feel as adequate in some areas as others? Do you think it undermines prospective client confidence in my ability as a baker-decorator? I really would be interested in your thoughts. You know that I am very open and honest about sharing the things that I feel do not come out as I planned , or the cakes that make me cry etc... Should I keep all of this to my self or do you really want to hear about the good, the bad and the ugly? Which, I should quickly point out that even if I am unhappy with my end result I do not believe I have ever sent out a cake that was ugly or not edible, just not the picture perfect image I was shooting for.
