Ok guinea pig rant tonight....what to do if they just dont stop EATING lol. I stopped getting Oxbow hay a short while back because my girls upstairs were going through so much it was getting ridiculous. I have been picking bags of grass for them daily alongside their veg and pellets/oats etc...of which dont seem to count on the grass disappearance issue because they prefer it now over anything else...the issue being they eat the entire shopping bag within minutes! How much grass can 5 guinea pigs fit into their stomachs! Where does it go? To this day I do not understand where that sheer amount of greenstuff goes lol! Ramble over! An entire shopping bag in minutes then they want more! Theres gonna be no grass left in this neighborhood soon lol have emptied the paths, the front yard and now resorted to the local creek lol. Anyone else go through this? Annett Kruse Im sure you can relate haha. My only issue is that Oli eats their hair if they run out and theyre running out too fast for mum to keep up...hmmm trying to think of a solution because were going to have a grass shortage soon lol. Literally just gave them a another entire shopping bag ful and its gone already and Oli is at it again gah Oli!!! I should really call this post mission save my girls hair from Olis gob any other ideas because Ive run out lol...its looking like I would need to be picking up to 7 bags of grass a day right now to get on top of my hair eating machine guinea pig! lol.
