Ok guys, there has been a big shake up. Instead of running one large ppr idp league the league has now been divided into two separate leagues. This pertains to Vince, Michelle and Mike Jones specifically but has implications on the whole league. League two, named Next Top Jobber or NXTJOBBER for short is a contest designed to make the everyday jobbers league much more competitive. The second league winner will replace the worst team in the main league every year. The second league has six playoff teams and two divisions. This is a league designed to help new people learn how the league plays and is a sort of try out if you will for the main league. It also drives and pushes players in the main league to finish out the season to stay out of relegation. If relegated you would have to win the jobbers league to return. This is practiced in soccer and makes for much more compelling match ups for teams not in the hunt for the title. THIS IS NOT A PUNISHMENT and you were not chosen at random. We still want to include everyone who wants to play and this idea gives people who want to play but might not be ready for a league of the jobbers quality yet. You have to remember, at least 7 out of the 8 players in the jobbers league has played in a high skill level fantasy level program before. Players in the main league are more then welcome to join this league as well, winning which would cancel out your relegation, in which case, no relegation would occur. The second league spots should go to totally new players, so recruiting would be very helpful. If you know someone who would be interested in playing or know a person who would like to start playing, this is a great opportunity. If you do not want to compete this is ok, however your participation would be a much valued part of our league. We want to keep our players and we want to add new ones. This would seem to be the best way for this to happen without diluting the integrity of the primary league. Winning a title in the second league is also a legitimate title and allows you the honor of being the next top jobber. This years contest allows you the smack talking rights of being the first ever top jobber and NXTJOBBER champion. Thanks to everyone and lets enjoy a good season!
