Ok guys when does MRR become more of being a dick then being fun. Let me tell you why. I have been asked and called to join NMRA and clubs around my state. I have attended a lot of the clubs a few times each and would never ever join any of them EVER. I have noticed that all of them are asking to get the younger generation involved cause MRR is a dying hobby. WELL I can see why it is. All these old guys are killing it for everyone. I cant believe how you are treated if SOMETHING isnt prototypical.. I dont get this part.....WHO CARES.... You want prototypical then do it on your own layout dont judge someone and treat them like shit cause they do this hobby for fun. To me I don care about is a engine is the right color of black. I just want to have fun with this hobby..... Sorry guys thanks for letting me vent. Also maybe this could help them vets relax a little with the news guys in this hobby
