Ok, here is a question for all you sports officiatos, like my step-son Mark Altheide, I just saw on CBS where a high school team in Texas in football ran up a score of 91-0. The question is, what would be wrong with having a MERCY rule for high schools and below to have this rule, say 49 points over the opposing team that the game is over? People were complaining that running up a high score over the opposing team is a type of bullying, even when the coach of this high score put in his second and third string team. Just wondering.
