Ok here is my dilemma that I need some advice on: next year were planning a 4-6 month trip, going up the guts, across the top and down the left hand side and home to vic. So were a family of five with three boys 10, 8, 5, we have a jayco hawk OB.... The drama is were in two minds as to what vehicle to use. We have a 2013 pajero vrx with all the fruit, its my wifes daily drive and we think its going to get a little trashed doing the the trip, to cart all the gear we think we need,I think we will halve to put in rear draws and cage. The other vehicle is a 06 ford courier TD with all the fruit, including canopy and R/Racks, so all the gear can just go in the back. Both will chug along at 90-100 no dramas and I dont give a hoot about fuel bills as it costs what it costs. The courier is not as comfy as the Paj however the courier can take a beating and be trashed and I couldnt give a fig Newton, so from those that have been there and done that, whats your thoughts, cheers.
